Settings: Set Mobile Notifications for PupilPath

When students and parents login to the PupilPath app on a mobile device or tablet, they can opt to receive “Push Notifications” on that device. These notifications will alert the student or parent when a new grade or attendance mark is received.

To set up mobile notifications for PupilPath, use the following steps.

 

Step 1

Click “Settings” on the left hand side of Skedula and then click “Grade Outputs.”


Step 2

Choose the course you would like to change the notifications for PupilPath in the drop down menu.


Step 3

Scroll down to “Push Notification Rules.” Uncheck the box next to “Disable Notification” next to the information you would like parents and students to receive notifications for.  Type the number of minutes you would like the notification to send after a change is made in the box next to “Delay Push Notifications by Minutes.”

Note: Keep in mind users will be notified after the delay time even if a teacher is grading late at night.


Step 4

Click “Save To…” on the top right hand side of the screen. 


Step 5

Check the box next to the courses you would like to save all the Grade Outputs settings to and click “Apply Changes.”

Note: This will save all Grade Output options on the page to the courses checked, not just the Default Marking Period. If you have different options selected for Average Displays or another option, change the course with different options separately.
