Installing the DDC Exam Scanner

The previous in-browser scanning utility has been replaced by a small downloadable program that you can run from the desktop. This program may have already be installed on your computer. Please check with your IT department first.

PLEASE NOTE:  This link will always download the latest version of the DDC Exam Scanner.

Requirements:

    * Windows XP, Vista, or 7
    * TWAIN compliant scanner
    * .Net Framework 3.5 (included with download)
    * Administrative privileges on the computer (for install process only)

 
1.  Run the DDC Exam Scanner application

A window will open asking what you want to do with a file called ddcexamscanner.exe.
You might see a confirmation message, asking if you're sure you want to run this software. Click 'Run' again.

2.  Follow the Setup Wizard

When the download has finished, the DDC Exam Scanner Setup Wizard will appear and guide you through the rest of the installation.

3.  Launch the DDC Exam Scanner

After the installation has finished, you can open the DDC Exam Scanner at any time by clicking the icon on your desktop or Start menu.
