Settings: Course Standards for Teachers

All Courses should have their own individual standards assigned to each of them.  The standards will be pulled from the "School Standards" page.  The entire Common Core or State Standards can be applied to any course. If the goal is to create a Standards Based Report Card you may want to assign only the standards that will be used on the Report Card to each course
 

Step 1

Go to the "Settings" tab then click "Course Categories"





 

Step 2
 

Select a course from the drop down menu






Or find the course from the list provided and click the icon




 

Step 3
 

Find the standards from the School Standards list displayed and check off the standard strands to be assigned to the course

Once checked click the "Transfer Selected" link in the middle of the page





The standards should then appear on the right side of the screen under the "Selected Standards" portion of the page




 

Step 4

Save the settings once complete with the "Save..." button at the top right corner of the page





Select the courses that these standards apply to






Be sure to "Apply Changes" when complete
